There’s no doubt about it, Twitter has been behind some of the biggest news stories in 2011, including the revolutionary ‘Arab Spring’ movement and the exposure of a string of celebrities who took out super-injunctions.
While it’s hard to predict what stories the microblogging site will break this year, it’s sure to have a big impact on the London 2012 Olympic Games and the US presidential elections.
