Employee engagement isn't something you can cross off your to do and then revisit next quarter. It is a daily commitment to adhere to a set of principles that serves to empower other people. Something very easily overlooked in the middle of your day to day challenges and immediate issues. And it is also not something that is only for leaders or management to implement or drive. Employees at all levels can start and keep the conversations going around engagement and what everyone's role to play is in the organization.
I came across this checklist of items that I think would be helpful to review regularly and discuss with your team or peers if you are serious about increasing engagement in your company.
