At Sandbox we can only agree more with Ty Montague's article and mantra for marketing: BE A STORYDOER.

This is a fundamental mindset which we believe, if adopted consistently, can create vastly different growth and revenue results for a company.  If you are a VP of Marketing, Marketing Manager or a passionate employee from any department, we recommend some reflection time to think about how you are advancing the company narrative through action.  Have a look at Montague's simple list of characteristics to evaluate if you are a storydoing company.

For some readers, you may have read the title of this post and said, "Heck, my company is neither a storyteller nor a storydoer." If that is the case, start today because there is a wealth of opportunity to leverage and align with the business development activities you are actively participating in.
